Cover layout of the November 20-27 2017 Sports Illustrated issue is very mysterious with fog in the background. What really catches ones eye is the contrast of Julio Jones against the fog, as if he's emerging victoriously. Utilizing the colors red and yellow against the grey background makes the text pop and turns a boring dark covered magazine into something more attractive to the eye. Julio Jone's name is in white and larger and bolder than any other text, so that it informs the reader that the issue is going to focus on Julio Jones in specific. The inside cover/first page features a Chevrolet ad which leads me to believe Chevrolet paid money to be featured, especially on the inside cover. The third page after a Breitling ad is the table of contents. Sports Illustrated did this so the reader has to go through a couple pages of ads to finally get to the content they want.
